March 22, 1938 – July 22, 2026
Kathleen Montanaro (nee Dorney), passed away peacefully on July 22nd at the age of 88 years old. Kathleen was born in 1938 in New York City to her parents Thomas and Bridget Dorney. During World War II the family settled in West New York, NJ where she grew up. She graduated from Memorial High School. She eventually settled in North Bergen where she worked as a secretary for the Township of North Bergen and subsequently as a secretary and assistant librarian for the Dwight Englewood Middle School. In 2014 she moved to Red Bank, NJ where she began to enjoy her retirement years. In 2022 she moved to Atria Assisted Living in Cranford, NJ. She is survived by her daughter and her son-in-law Lynn and Robert Imbesi and her grand dog Cory.
